Protein and Amino Acid:

Dogs cannot survive on protein-deficient diets; including the 10 different amino acids which dogs cannot make on their own. Our Royal Dog Chews contain more than 50% crude protein with well-balanced amino acids.

Fats and Fatty Acid:

When it comes to fat, the rule of thumb says, the higher the fat content, the lower the lactose content. Dogs can usually tolerate products with less that 2% lactose. Our products are well below that percentage with 0.7% to no more than 0.9% (below 1%).

Energy Needs:

All dogs require balanced nutrition to live a healthy and active life; whether it’s playing, growing, exercising, breeding or taking care of their puppies, proper canine nutrition is a must. Energy, generally measured in terms of calories, comes from 3 major components: carbohydrates, protein and fat. Our products contain 30 to 32% carbohydrates; 52.8% crude protein and 0.7-0.9% crude fat.

Moisture:

The hardness or softness of the Royal Dog Chew depends upon its water content. Milk containing higher water content makes the dog chew soft; and milk containing low water content makes the chew hard (which typically dogs love the most). Our Royal Dog chew products all contain a maximum water content/moisture of 10 to 11%.
